A Collaborative Effort
By working together we are able to provide greater coordination and effectiveness in meeting needs, and have been successful in bringing new resources to our community. Our service providers meet the 2nd Thursday of the month from 1:00-2:00pm at Desert Hills Presbyterian Church. During that time we share new initiatives, notable trends, and identified gaps in services in our community. Feel free to stop by and check out our team and mission, or continue to explore our website and click on the providers logo below to learn more about each provider.
To become one of our providers your organization must be a not-for-profit agency that provides an ongoing service to the community we serve. Many of our agency go beyond our boundaries, but all must serve at least a portion of the people within our boundaries. Presently, our boundaries are north of Pinnacle Peak, east of 7th Street, and west of Rio Verde. Click below to begin the process of becoming a Neighbors in Need AZ service provider partner.
Bullying: What to look for at home? What am I teaching my child about bullying through my own actions? How can I
support, enhance or adjust what my child is learning socially? How can body language, tone of voice and ‘what my child is not
saying’ communicate important insights about my child? Asking the right questions, learning to listen, and being ready to talk
when they are ready to talk can answer questions about their ever-changing social interactions. Learning to defuse bullying
behavior and encourage positive behavior can start at home.
Father’s Know Best Are you a relevant father? Do you have equal value as a parent? Father’s relationships with their
children can strongly impact their self-esteem and how they view the world. Father/son and father/daughter dynamics are
very different. Each carries great weight in very different ways. Fathers, learn the potential you have to impact your own
child’s life. Make a positive difference.

We provide emergency food, referral information, and limited financial assistance to families that are in a crisis situation who live in parts of the Northeast Valley, including Anthem. Food support is given once a month and financial support up to $400.00 is given once within a 12 month period. In 2011 we began offering budget counseling. Our main office is in Cave Creek.
Hospice of the Valley provides compassionate end-of-life care. We support patients and families and relieve suffering in all realms – physical, emotional and spiritual. Our staff is available 24/7 in person – not an answering service. We provide most services in the comfort of patients’ homes. We serve residents of Cave Creek and the Desert Foothills area, as well as throughout Maricopa and Pinal counties. We also operate Arizona Palliative Home Care, providing care for those with a late-stage chronic illness who are not yet ready for hospice. In addition, our Senior Placement Service is a no-cost community program that helps families find the right care for their loved ones. For more information, visit hov.org or call 602-530-6900.
The Salvation Army is an integral part of the Christian Church, although distinctive in government and practice. The Army’s doctrine follows the mainstream of Christian belief and its articles of faith emphasise God’s saving purposes. Its objects are ‘the advancement of the Christian religion… of education, the relief of poverty, and other charitable objects beneficial to society or the community of mankind as a whole.’
Senior Bridge caregivers have been helping keep seniors independent, active and safe in the Carefree and Scottsdale area since 1995. Senior Bridge offers a unique range of comprehensive and disease-specific caregiving programs. Through collaboration with local community organizations and experts in each area, we have developed a training program designed to provide to skills to our caregivers who are then matched with cients and families to help meet their individual needs in the most familiar surroundings they call home.
Whether your care needs are simple or challenging, our professional staff has a solution. All caregivers receive customized training and supervision by RN and Social Worker Care Managers.
