A Collaborative Effort
By working together we are able to provide greater coordination and effectiveness in meeting needs, and have been successful in bringing new resources to our community. Our service providers meet the 2nd Thursday of the month from 1:00-2:00pm at Desert Hills Presbyterian Church. During that time we share new initiatives, notable trends, and identified gaps in services in our community. Feel free to stop by and check out our team and mission, or continue to explore our website and click on the providers logo below to learn more about each provider.
To become one of our providers your organization must be a not-for-profit agency that provides an ongoing service to the community we serve. Many of our agency go beyond our boundaries, but all must serve at least a portion of the people within our boundaries. Presently, our boundaries are north of Pinnacle Peak, east of 7th Street, and west of Rio Verde. Click below to begin the process of becoming a Neighbors in Need AZ service provider partner.

A.W.A.R.E. Parents – Bullying: What to look for at home Workshop Flyer & Registration – Click Here
Bullying: What to look for at home? What am I teaching my child about bullying through my own actions? How can I
support, enhance or adjust what my child is learning socially? How can body language, tone of voice and ‘what my child is not
saying’ communicate important insights about my child? Asking the right questions, learning to listen, and being ready to talk
when they are ready to talk can answer questions about their ever-changing social interactions. Learning to defuse bullying
behavior and encourage positive behavior can start at home.
Father’s Know Best Are you a relevant father? Do you have equal value as a parent? Father’s relationships with their
children can strongly impact their self-esteem and how they view the world. Father/son and father/daughter dynamics are
very different. Each carries great weight in very different ways. Fathers, learn the potential you have to impact your own
child’s life. Make a positive difference.
True Colors™ Workshop – Let True Colors™ make your parenting life amazing! – Communicate more effectively and
enjoy cooperative relationships with your kids and other adults in your life. In this workshop you will gain a deeper
understanding of the connection between your personality and how it influences your child’s behavior. True Colors™ provides
insights into different motivations, actions and communication approaches.
Healing After Divorce Workshop – Divorce Hurts. Hope is here. Certified Life Coach ShaRon Rea, creates a safe and
reassuring atmosphere for parents to find comfort and understanding, recognize their child’s reaction to divorce and how to
